How To Not Be Boring For Valentine’s Day!
Do you want to give your loved one that WOW! feeling this year!? It doesn’t have to be on Valentine’s Day; it can be anytime of the year!
I really hope that you want to impress them this year, and make it all worthwhile because they deserve it!
Here’s 10 steps of “How to not be boring for Valentine’s Day”, so make sure you follow these steps and take some important notes:
Step 1: Plan The Scenery
You can go anywhere around the world, but you want to make sure it’s a peaceful and romantic scenery and not with tons of noise around you because that can be a mood killer!
Here’s some sceneries you should consider:
The Beach
You can never go wrong with going to the beach and enjoy listening to the calm waves and ocean breeze while watching the beautiful sunset on the horizon, which in essence, will give you a sense of serenity. Don’t forget to get ocean front view if you book a hotel.
City Skyline
A nice city view is also a very romantic scenery to take your loved one while you both gaze at the beautiful skyline and its vibrant colors! Just remember to not book a room in the downtown area if you don’t want to deal with all the noise!
The Lake
A beautiful lake is a nice scenery to take your loved one, especially if you both like nature and enjoy being outdoors. You both can eat by the lake and enjoy looking at the entire landscape around the lake.
Home
If you can’t think of a scenery outside your home, make your home the romantic setting and start getting creative after reading the next steps that I have for you.
Step 2: Plan What You Will Both Eat and Drink
You need to now have an idea for what food and drinks that you both will enjoy for your special day! By the way, you don’t have to overthink. You just have to do it from the heart, but keep it simple. They will appreciate you regardless!
You should consider doing breakfast in bed, dinner or both!
I suggest you do an appetizer, a main dish and a dessert if you are doing a dinner.
Here are my top simple breakfast in bed and dinner ideas along with wine pairs:
1) French toast topped with strawberries and whipped cream along with sausages and a delicious omelette! Drinks: Cocktails, mocktails or Champagnes.
2) Scrambled eggs, sausages or bacon and southwestern hashbrowns with a fruit salad topped with whipped cream, pecans, cranberries and honey drizzle! Drinks: Cocktails, mocktails or Champagnes.
3) Steak, scrambled eggs and potatoes topped with parmesan! Drinks: Cocktail, mocktail or Champagne goes with this too.
4) Shrimp fettuccine with broccoli! Drink: Pinot Grigio goes well with this!
5) Chicken Marsala with spaghetti noodles and asparagus! Drink: A nice Champagne!
6) Lemon garlic butter salmon with roasted rosemary potatoes and asparagus! Drink: Sauvignon Blanc.
This is just some of the few to help get your ideas flowing, and please don’t forget dessert like that red velvet cake and some chocolate covered strawberries!

Step 3: Plan How You want to Decorate The Scenery!
This may take some researching and thinking, but remember to get creative and have fun with it!
Make sure you bring out the red and pink rose petals, candles, balloons, soft romantic music, wine, flowers, bubble bath, massage oils and heart shaped pillows, and only decorate parts of the home or place that you will be performing your duties!
Make sure you decorate when they are not around, so you may have to send them into another room or out to run errands! I’m sure you’ll think of something.
Step 4: Choose One of These Options:
1) Are you both cooking together?
2) Are you cooking the food and serving it to your loved one?
3) Are you hiring Chef Reese! Haha!
Either one you choose is a great choice because it’s the thought that counts, which will bring you both closer together!
Step 5: Write A Love Letter:
You can both do this step or just one of you. You want to at least write 10 things that you love about your loved one. For example, they are funny, caring, great wife, great husband, good mother, good father, etc, and make sure you explain why for each of them.
For example, you can say, “you are funny because you know how to make me laugh and smile when I’m down”.
Save this letter for later, and share it during dinner or breakfast in bed.
Step 6: The Big Day!
It’s time to decorate, cook and turn on some romantic music to get the mood started! Make sure you get creative!
Step 7: Romantic Slow Dance
Next, while the music is still playing and the tummy is satisfied, it’s time to grab your loved one’s hand and start slow dancing to some romantic music while holding each other softly but tight, not too tight. Don’t be shy even if you dance with one foot. Just holding each other and swaying side to side is good enough!
Step 8: Bubble Bath
Next, it’s time to get the bubble bath ready and walk your loved one from the table to a hot bubble bath.
Make sure you have the radio and the wine in there with you, and scrub their feet and hands while they soak in that hot and cozy bubble bath!
Warning! Don’t have the radio close to the water!
Step 9: Warm Body Massage
After the hot bubble bath, get out the warm massage oil, and please your loved one with a great massage to help relax the body, which would put them in a place of comfort and relaxation.
Step 10: Ending The Night Right
I don’t know how you want to end the night after the massage, which is your business. Just don’t disturb your neighbors! Haha!
