Teach me or prom me for new years!
Client: Are we dancing or learning Chef Reese?
Chef Reese: Umm, I don’t know? I think we are going to be doing a little bit of both!
Client: What?! I wasn’t ready for this one Chef!
Chef Reese: Me either, I just made it up! Oops!
On this day, I was hired to do a cooking class and a private dinner. I decided that I wanted to be creative and throw something extra in the cake mix. Well, not literally an actual cake mix, but I wanted to just add a touch of flavor if you catch my flow without missing it. If you did miss my flow, you will hopefully catch it later in the next premier! Haha!
On the day of services, I had told everyone that I had a special surprise for them. Everyone gathered around very anxiously as if they was waiting for their favorite football team to make that final touchdown in the last 2 seconds of the game, but at least I had everyone’s attention, thanks! :)
The special surprise was a chef dance challenge! The dance challenge was great and everyone had their own unique moves that actually blew some of mines out the water! It was like a workout and we was burning calories, which was a great way to start the New Years! Some of them have not danced like that since preschool!! Haha!
Here are some juicy highlights:
1) Before we started our chef dance challenge, one of the participants got really nervous and sweaty because this was something he didn’t want to do, but thanks to his wife and others for their encouragment. He eventually got out on the dance floor and killed his competitions! Haha! I knew he had it in him!!
2) My daughter running around the living room during the competition! She was the number one star during the dance competition because she had more energy than all of us out there! I was tired just from watching her run around! Haha!
3) When everybody went back to the dance floor after dinner, we took it back to those highschool prom nights trying to make everyone feel young again. I know them joints was working that night! Some haven’t moved like that since 1974. Sorry, I just made up a random year, and I wasn’t trying to make anyone feel old here! Haha! I’m just kidding they all look great!
4) I enjoyed seeing the fellas serve their wives instead of myself. I just had to make the plate look fancy for them, and they did the rest! I wanted to make it more about them and help make it memorable for them to have something to laugh about in the future when they look back at those past memories.
Thank you Jennifer, Jennell, Fred and the rest for doing this special event for your friends!
